What it does

The AI Designer takes a photo of your existing room and regenerates it in a completely new interior design style. The AI:
  • Replaces furniture with style-appropriate pieces
  • Adjusts color schemes, textures, and materials
  • Adds decor, lighting, and rugs
  • Preserves your room’s architecture (doors, windows, floor plan)
The AI keeps structural elements like doors, windows, ceiling height, and floor unchanged. Only furniture, decor, and soft furnishings are transformed.

Free vs paid plan access

Free plan users have access to a limited selection of styles only. The full style library — including Japandi, Industrial, Bohemian, Mid-Century Modern, Coastal, Farmhouse, and Art Deco — requires a paid plan. Upgrade in Settings → Your Plan to unlock all styles.

How to use it

Upload your room photo

Click Upload Photo and select a clear, well-lit photo of your room. See the Photo Guide for best results.

Choose a style

Select your desired interior style from the dropdown.Free plan styles:
  • Minimalist
  • Modern
  • Scandinavian
  • Contemporary
Pro & Premium styles (full library):
  • Japandi
  • Industrial
  • Bohemian
  • Mid-Century Modern
  • Coastal
  • Traditional

Add optional preferences

Optionally describe specific preferences in the text field — for example: “keep it bright with light wood tones” or “I want lots of plants”.

Generate

Click Generate Design. The AI processes your photo in 15–30 seconds and delivers a fully redesigned room image.

Understanding the output

The result shows your room completely restyled. Key things to know:
  • Spatial accuracy: The AI uses door frames (~2.1m) as a scale reference to size furniture correctly
  • 80cm clearance: Walking paths between furniture pieces are maintained automatically
  • Locked elements: Doors (including color, handles, and finish), windows, floors, and ceilings are never altered

Saving your design

After generation, your design is automatically saved to your Recent Designs on the Dashboard. You can also:
  • Add to Mood Board — collect designs for a specific room or project
  • Share — get a shareable link
  • Download — save to your device
  • Generate a variation — create a new version with slight changes (1 credit)

Tips for best results

Show the full room in your photo. Partial shots (just a corner or just a sofa) give the AI less context and produce less accurate results.
  • Use natural light or bright indoor lighting
  • Avoid cluttered or dark photos
  • For large rooms, stand at the corner to capture the most space
  • The AI works best on living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and home offices

Troubleshooting

The AI changed my door color The latest version of the AI is instructed to lock door color, material, texture, handle, and finish identical to the original. If this still occurs, try regenerating. Furniture looks too large/small The AI uses your door frame as a scale reference. Make sure the door is visible in your photo for accurate spatial reasoning. Result doesn’t match the style I selected Add more detail in the optional preferences field — for example: “strict minimalist, only black/white/grey palette, no clutter”.
